PYD co-leader Salih Muslim

Democratic Union Party (PYD) co-leader Salih Muslim condemned Turkish airstrikes targeting Kurdish positions in Syria and Iraq on Tuesday morning and said coalition forces should not to remain silent on the matter.

Speaking to Europe based News Channel, the leader of the largest Syrian Kurdish party said the attack was expected due to the heavy military deployment at the Turkey-Syria border.

“There is a tense situation. There were already aerial attacks at the border and reconnaissance flights [by Turkey]. We were expecting this, it is not a surprise. They cannot scare the people of Kurdistan with these attacks. The people of Kurdistan are resistant. They will resist these savage attacks and respond in the best way.”

‘Turkish attacks support Islamic State’

The PYD co-leader also said the airstrikes were support to the jihadist Islamic State (IS) group, which Kurdish forces are fighting in Syria and Iraq.

“A people that is fighting terrorism is being stabbed in the back. Coalition forces must no remain silent against this. No one should accept these attacks.”

Dozens of Kurdish YPG, Yazidi and Peshmerga fighters and civilians are reported to have been killed in concurrent airstrikes by the Turkish on Tuesday morning.

It is not just the Kurds who are upset with Turkey's actions. The Syrian Arabs want ISIS ended almost as much as the Kurds do. They all want a sane government.

Erdogan the IS.lamist does not want his buddies in ISIS all killed.

Big boys will eventually step up to the plate.

It is time to drive the Turks back into the western Asian steppes and to free Europe, the Levant, and the Mediterranean of their stench.

When the Kurds were helping the Turks in the genocide of the Christian Armenians...

The Armenians told the Kurds “Armenians for breakfast, Kurds for supper.”

I said it then, and I’ll say it now:

We should have rewarded the Turkish perfidy in their last minute denial of passage to Iraq through their “holy” muslim caliphate at the start of the war by splitting the crushed Iraq along ethnic lines and creating a brand new Kurdistan on right on their border.

Woulda pissed off Iran, too...
