LITTLE ROCK Arkansas put convicted killer Kenneth Williams to death Thursday night the last of a controversial series of executions carried out as the state moved to carry out the sentences before its supply of a lethal injection drug expired.
Arkansas Department of Correction Spokesman Solomon Graves said that the lethal injection was administered at 10:52 p.m. local time (11:52 p.m. ET) and Williams was declared dead at 11:05 p.m.
Williams, 38, was scheduled to die at 7 p.m. local time (8 p.m. ET) via lethal injection at the Cummins Unit, where the state's death chamber is housed, about 75 miles south of Little Rock.
A reporter for The Associated Press who witnessed the execution said Williams appeared to convulse and jerk over the span of around 10 to 20 seconds after the sedative midazolam, the drug expiring at the end of the month, was administered.

Most waters have undoubtedly ran past their expiration date. I think we should all be afraid to drink it, if not the fed gov banning it all together.
Seriously, if the drugs are no good, then I think a service revolver could do the trick. But then some lefty whacko would wanna see the expiration date for the bullets.
It may have but salt really has no expatriation date. More stupid EPA/FDA crap. My box of salt last 2 yrs before it is used up. Sugar doesn’t expire either. Might clump a little, but that is all.
Now if you were talking Yeast, dairy, meat, eggs, bread then an expatriation date is useful, but most can be exceeded by a few days to a month depending on what it is and how you handled it prior to use.
Gotta watch those expatriation dates. I want my salt and other kitchen items staying in America! :0)
I spewed Dr. Pepper through my nose and onto my iPad reading that, LOL!!!
I give them a lot of credit. Very Christian.
I don’t believe that putting that man to death and forgiving him for doing what he did are incompatible with each other.
You can forgive someone for something but still require them to be subject to the consequences of their actions.
Now your Dr Pepper will go flat if not used with in a reasonable time. We use to keep cola’s for the adult kids when they came over, which has gotten less and less often, it went flat, so I no longer buy it. And I’m not contributing to my grandson’s obesity he is now my height and 150 lbs more than I weigh, I can’t get his dad to run his Blood Sugar, when he runs his; no sugar drinks in the house, and his grand dad’s junk food is locked up. I make un sweet tea, or have bottle water. Don’t like it, bring your own soda.
I’d love to know how a Carb/Sugar holic has normal Blood Sugar when all I have to do is look at it and my Blood Sugar is up, I’ve a digestive disorder and they make me do Blood Sugar testing in the AM. Determines what I can eat for the day.
Bullet - Brain
Bullet - Heart
Bullet - Crotch
If they survive that, at least they will have something to think about.
Okay, forget the crotch and put a second bullet in the brain-pan.
Bullets are cheap and plentiful. No side effects. No suffering. Instantaneous death. Guards get free target practice. Much more exciting for execution witnesses (goggles and surgical gowns required).
Oh I forgot, a three person firing squad. ONE person gets blanks. This way no one knows for certain if THEY were the one to kill the POS.
AND that’s 4 shots to the head and 2 to the heart, “just to be sure”. (large caliber hollow points).
The only downside to this execution is that, since he also became a pastor while in prison, he could still have ministered to other convicts had he served a life term. But we will never know; salvation is not a door you pass through, never to turn back to the sinful life. So justice was done. Blessings and condolences to the families of the victims.
The Cheerleader was a black girl. Don’t know about her friend and the other victims.
That doesn’t matter. What matters is that her young life was taken.
Well you mentioned descriptions. I gave you the one I knew.
and pictures.
Yep...done deal...but IMO should they have some discomfort it will never touch what they put others through....let it take as long as it takes as far as I’m concerned....after all it was “cruel” and beyond on their victims.
