Ohio Gov. John Kasich claimed in his new book that the reason President Trump won the election was because America is in a moral decline.
In Two Paths: America Divided or United, Kasich blamed Trumps electoral win on groups ranging from the media to dishonest politicians, but he also said one of the main reasons Trump won was because of the spiritual decline in America.
I happen to believe that you cant guide an entire society without a shared religious foundation, Kasich wrote. I saw Trumps reckless entreaties as a weakening of our shared American values even more so, a coarsening of our shared American values Donald Trump gave the impression of a man who would do or say anything to get attention, even incite a crowd to violence.
Kasich also noted that Trump gave millions of disenfranchised voters a voice.

And the latest worst one, Maxi-Pad Waters, but yeah; Kasich is crazier than a rabid pack of Hyenas and just as dangerous to the health and well being of America.
He claims to be conservative but only in finite narrow ways; otherwise he's a full blown leftist nut job like the rest of 'em. He should go back to mucking horse stalls and cleaning toilets; at least he was good at it and it was honest work unlike what he does now the way he does it.
Just keep on digging deeper!
America is in spiritual decline, who can argue with that. But Trump winning was a reaction against that trend in my opinion. It is yet to be determined whether it was just the dying twitch of a good society or hopefully something more. We’ll see, I hope I’m wrong but I think it is pretty grim. 2016 had less turnout than 2012 or 2008, and he only won because of the brilliance of the electoral college.
Freegards
Did anyone bother to tell John Boy Republican primary voters soundly rejected his candidacy? Probably because they are so wicked.
Are there any good Republicans in Ohio who could challenge him to get rid of him? At one time I honestly thought he’d be a great candidate with his Congressional Budget Committee chairmanship and Ohio governorship background, but what a loose cannon he has turned out to be. It’s as if something serious happened along the way. oh, well, he’s dead to me now.
Incredible! Kasich is a sanctimonious boor!
Damn Ohio, is that the best you could do?
Makes more sense that way.
And 75% of the sales will be family members.
Is there anyone who really cares about what he thinks?
Yeah, a $30 advance seems about par.
If kasich really wanted to find out why Trump won he’d look here on FR...Conservatives dont want kasich style, do-nothing liberal republicans who are no different than democrats.
FUJK
Kasich is a textbook example of an imbecile.
My dad served two tours in Vietnam...that makes me a War Hero!
I’ll proudly take a copy!
(my kitchen table has a wobbly leg)

I resent the notion that voting for ANY of the Republican candidates could remotely be construed as a spiritual endeavor.
Shut the Hell up Kasich, you addle-minded miscreant!
I cant believe I used to like Kasich. He has become an insufferable, sanctimonious prig. And an idiot
*******
Me too.Reminds me of Joe Scarborough; they changed, and not for the better.
America may well be in a spiritual decline (although there are many, many good people of faith; we just don’t hear about them from the MSM}, but that is NOT why Trump won.
He won because he resonated with people who have been ignored for far too long. People who needed jobs, people who wanted a strong leader; people who didn’t want yet another corrupt establishment politician at the helm. Politicians say they want to “help the middle class”, but they never do. They realized that he actually meant what he said.
He was a breath of fresh air. That’s why thousands turn out at his rallies and speeches and why people voted him in.
I remember that! What an idiot.
They don’t need lessons from you, Kasich.
I can’t remember who said it, but this quote will be famous by the end of the Trump era: “Trump supporters take him seriously but not literally, while Trump attackers take him literally but not seriously.”
He forgets that it is because of idiot liberals like him that are to blame for that.
