$175 million is, comparatively, the coffee fund.
But still, it looks fishier than the delta smelt. It looks like it wasn’t just hidden but dipped into by a small group.
Maybe Antifa should go looking for her and quit worrying about private conservative fatcats.
When I was doing some work on the Berkeley campus the boss of the person overseeing my projects was busted for stealing $50K+ of university/state property and their “punishment” was early retirement with full benefits.
Higher education is a total scam. It is a means of the Left to steal the lifetime wages of those whom they enslave.
The thing is, what Napolitano did is not an isolated incident. The University of Wisconsin did the same thing. They hid nearly a billion dollars while raising tuition. The legislature stepped in to take action.
The point is, tuition and college costs have outrun inflation by about triple with no real value added. It is a scam, yet people seem committed to continue handing over a sizeable portion of their future lifetime earnings for, basically, a sales receipt, which some also call a diploma.
That’s truly sickening.
Our money means nothing to the elite. And to unions.
I can’t imagine NY (where i live) and CA teacher save enough while teaching to get 6k a month until they die.
With today’s life span you’re talking 2.5 million over the course of their retirement.
Businesses need to step in with serious ‘in-house training’ to replace silly college ‘educations’....
I doubt corrupt ‘universities’ can change addictive money grubbing and scamming. Rather than wasting time attempting to reform them, just take them on.

Everyone of these universities should be taken down for fraud.
