(CNSNews.com) - The new federal spending bill proposed in the Republican-controlled Congress to fund the government through the end of September--which is now posted on the House Rules Committee website--is 1,665 pages long and includes an average of approximately 210 words per page.
That makes this bill approximately 350,000 words longor about twice as long as the stimulus law (the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act) that President Barack Obama signed less than a month after his inauguration in 2009.
As CNSNews.com reported in 2009, the House Appropriations Committee, in the then-Democrat-controlled Congress, released Obamas stimulus bill in two PDFs less than 24 hours before the House was going to vote on it. One PDF was 575 pages long and the other was 496 pages long, making the entire stimulus when published in that form 1,071 pages.

Incredible how out of touch our party is. 3 branches of government and we get donut hole. Wait till Sept, the next budget will punt everything again. Trump is playing with fire unless he steamrolls Ryan.
The RINOs make me sick.

It’s still a Democrat controlled Congress.
Some of them wear R jerseys to fool people.
We have to elect Democrats in R jerseys so that the Democrats in R jerseys will have control so they can keep the Democrats agenda going....../s
He’s not going to veto it folks. Spicer is out there spinning the POS. If there was any chance of a veto wouldn’t someone from the administration at least mention the possibility at this point?
The lobbyists on "K" Street wrote it. We have the best Uniparty money can buy.
Sad and Pathetic.
They have been wearing those jerseys for decades.
Does anyone know if those pages are posted on the Internet for tax payers to read? or at least scan over? just wondering.
