What about Paul, Cruz, Lee, Cotton? And our Representatives? Can’t they sponsor bills to defund Planned Parenthood? I admit I don’t understand how the machinery works on these matters in DC.
As for one badmouthing Pence, he is probably one of the most accomplished pro-life politicians in the nation.

House Speaker Paul Ryan defended not defunding Planned Parenthood in the spending bill Congress will vote on this week, saying that legislation repealing Obamacare is a better vehicle to strip federal money from the abortion and women’s health provider.
The spending deal released this week doesn’t defund nonprofit, angering anti-abortion groups. Ryan said during his weekly press conference that the reason was due to tactics: Spending bills need 60 votes to pass the Senate, and a defunding measure would be problematic.
Whether one wants to buy what Ryan says here is up to the individual. We might well remember, as stated in the article, spending bills require 60 votes. So, like I said, there’s stuff in the machinery that I don’t understand.

Why would the GOP want to ensure the perpetual creation of new welfare recipients and eventual Democrat voters? Conservatives who vote Republican on this issue are being taken for the longest ride of their lives. It's been going on forever, yet no one seems to learn.

Anger, sadness, tears for the innocent lives lost. If I as a human have these feelings, how much stronger are those of the Lord. They are his most precious. Every parent’s heart melts when they see the first smile of a little one, who are they in the government to help those that would make sure so many will never smile.
Pence may not be doing best but I don’t call into question his Christianity, leaders have difficult decisions to make. They are not in the position of Senators who can say things and have no effect on the economy and people’s jobs.
I meant to address the last post to all but Father Pavone speaks on this and basically says there is more than one way to defund Planned Parenthood.
