North Lake College was placed on lockdown just before noon Wednesday after reports of a shooter on the Irving campus.
The college sent out its first alert at 11:43 a.m., and Irving police later confirmed that shots had been fired at the school in the 5001 N. MacArthur Blvd.
Those on campus were urged to go to the nearest room and take shelter. Irving police said people should avoid the area.

Local TV news now reporting two dead, including the "suspect".
On an unrelated note, the local news here is now also reporting on a student that was stabbed in the throat at a high school in White Settlement (Forth Worth area).

That’s what it sounds like, a murder suicide, OANN was saying students barricaded in classes and they showed students being let out in single-file, hands on head.

Spring is in the air and a young man’s fancy turns to mayhem.
Shooter’s dead. White guy. Suspected murder-suicide but not much other information.
And that’s on top of the black guy targeting white and Asian frat boys at UT Austin yesterday, one dead.
