The picture of Ms Cook, herself from New Zealand, was taken when she climbed the mountain a few days ago with her partner.
Posted on her popular Instagram account, the picture of her gazing into the distance from the 2,518m peak has clocked up nearly 10,000 likes

I fail to see the problem.
I would like to see Maori of her.
But it doesn't pay to piss off Maoris. From what I've seen they're as big as Samoans.
And I make it a point to never to challenge any group that plays rugby and does the Haka
“However local Maori say the move was culturally utterly insensitive.
The top of the volcano is sacred for Maori.
“It’s like someone went into St Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican and took a nude photo,” Dennis Ngawhare, a spokesperson for the local Maori tribe, told the BBC.”
Maori, please. Before the white men came along and made you put on clothes, you were ALL running around the top of that mountain naked.
Even Mr. Whipple couldn’t resist giving that tush a squeeze.
Too funny!
Wait one Minute!!! So an indigenous group of people think a picture of a naked person with a naked mountain in the background is indecent? I think their tribal ancestors will think her shoes are indecent. The camera may be indecent. But a women without clothes is the way they expect women to be. You can’t be tribal and then adopt Elizabethan prudishness.
Savages.
“Prefer the old days of real body parts, thank you.”

Yeah, because nothing screams tough guy coordinated choreographed dance moves
Ya know what’s weird to me?
Every culture in the world gets to have the world regard their “sacred” places as sacred.
Pele the volcano goddess gets building projects stopped, Anasazi sacred places get taken out of the public’s right to hiking trails, Indian burial grounds gets forest shut down, and yet Christian places that are sacred, crosses on hills, crosses on gravestones, crosses by the side of the road, are all declared to be violations of church and state, or they’re declared to be offensive, and they’re turn down!
Such hypocrisy...

Fot those not offended by a beautiful behind, here it is without blurring: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4468078/New-Zealand-Playboy-model-poses-naked-Mt-Taranaki.html
“Does this volcano make my ash look too big?”
Yeah, I know it’s weak.
Did she seem not beautiful to the Maori?
Do they really think, today, that their ancestors would have had the same attitude about how the model was dressed, or not dressed?
Do they really think the “spirit” of the totally naked “sacred mountain” objected?
Though beauty is in the eye of the beholder, sometimes sin is too - in the eye of the beholder.
