Any kind of ban on what churches do violates the “separation of church and state” ideal that liberals claim to cherish. Of course, there is no such ideal codified in the Constitution, and liberals don’t really value freedom or the Constitution.

The issue is that churches, mosques, etc. are tax exempt. If they are doing the same kinds of things that other organizations that are NOT tax exempt are doing, then the argument is they should not be tax exempt either. Some successful religious organizations have other property besides the place of worship. If they have income producing property, then we need to know how this is treated tax wise.
