I keep hearing crickets are very good

I would actually try them

Are locusts the same as crickets? It would make a nice feast every 17 years.

If only the Egyptians of Moses’ day had only EATEN the locusts, they could have completely avoided one plague!

Crickets remind me way too much of roaches. They are near relatives.

I watch Andrew Zimmern on TV and he will eat any insect including dung beetles. The only insect he ever ate that I would be willing to try are some kind of giant pink thorn-mimicking sap-sucking critter from Madagascar, that you have to go through a skin-welting grass to get at.

What they eat is clean, and they taste something like sweet shellfish I think. But I’m not going to Madasgascar and shredding my skin, and there aren’t any exports.
