Dem Senator Calls for Special Prosecutor to Investigate Huma Abedin

Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) appeared on MSNBC's “Morning Joe” on Thursday to discuss the news from Wednesday's James Comey hearing. More specifically, the topic was the FBI director revealing that longtime Hillary Clinton advisor Huma Abedin forwarded classified emails to then-husband Anthony Weiner, ostensibly so he could print them out.

“Do you believe that is a crime?” panelist Willie Geist asked to open the Blumenthal interview. “If there was classified information and it was improperly passed to a person unauthorized to receive it? Yes, it’s a crime,” the senator replied. ”Without knowing what the intentions were and so forth, there is potentially a prosecutable crime."

I don’t remember the military caring about the “intentions” of someone releasing classified material.

Not really. He gives the comey caveat about intent.

Next time you’re speeding, try the Comey defense. “I didn’t intend to speed.”

Me either but a Democrat just said that what she is accused of would be a crime. That is the first I have heard any Democrats say such.

This isn’t serious. It’s just greasing the skids for a whitewash, by calling out the ‘legal experts’ to ‘prove’ that a special prosecutor isn’t warranted for blah, blah, blah reasons.

We’ll be hearing from Laurence Tribe on this very soon, I’ll wager...

There is no need for a special prosecutor. Just send it to a grand jury.

Richard wants to be bought off with something really, really big. Or this is with Hillarys blesing and everything comes down on her and Weiner. Uniparty media will spin it that way if Hillary tells them to.

To: Mad Dawgg; All
we need a special prosecutor...

there's the fly in the ointment.

They want to get this into a venue where THEY can manipulate the out come.

They don't want Trump''s DOJ doing the investigating - 'intent' won't wash

If they can get things shoved aside on 'intent' - that covers Hitlery's As* too -

Gotta think devious when reading the 'intent' of liberals...

Too many people, even FR's, who swallow the cool aid - taking these people at their stated word.

Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) is the douchebag that was going around telling stories about his service in Vietnam. Turns out he never served in Vietnam, EVER! Yet the people of Conn. elected him anyway.
