Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey, goodbye!
Remember how the gloating Republicans rubbed in their May 4 health care bill passage in the House of Representatives by singing? Didn't you just find that morally repugnant and un-American?
Oops! Wrong party. It was actually the Democrats in Congress who were singing. However, that didn't stop a hilariously wrong California state senator from condemning the singing by the "GOP members of Congress." And this wasn't just some little known state senator. The laughably wrong politician is the California Senate Pro Tempore Kevin de León whom you can see below denouncing the singing GOP.

I remember vividly the celebrations that went on in both houses of Congress when Obamacare was passed.
Kevin de León formerly known as Kevin Leon.
So this clown finds his own party’s congressional delegation to be “morally repugnant” and “un-American”.... I have to say I agree with him on that!
I am so tired of Demoncraps using the “that’s not who we are” line, though — they have been busy trashing “who we are” for years, yet they want to be the unique and privileged judges of “who we are”.....
I think this is the same state senator that claimed
half his illegal relatives used fake documents to work?
You win the prize of the day, one of his illegals for 1 day!

Feb 5, 2017 - California State Senate President Pro Tem Kevin De Léon (D-Los Angeles) said last Tuesday that half his family was in the country illegally, using false documents, ... practice by illegal aliens of using fraudulent documents to work and .... is good reason for the GOP having not yet used the nuclear option?
Democrats have mastered promoting FAKE NEWS. And their willing accomplices in Big Media help by using their wrong ‘facts’. (I think this is what KellyAnne meant by her ‘alternative facts’ comment, for which she was destroyed)
Good Lord. Kevin de Leon is known to have family connections that are connected with the Drug Cartels. He wants to disarm California like Mexico is disarmed, so the police and Cartels can do nothing without fear.
This is the same state senator who admitted that half of his family are illegal aliens breaking the laws and using fraudulent documents.
Daughter of legal immigrants confronts de Leon
GOOD GRIEF, CALIFORNIA! WAKE UP!
Just another RAT douschebag politician running his mouth, nothing to see here.
N’Sync’s “Bye, Bye, Bye”...
for when Obamacare is finally killed and replaced
Quite frankly I thought it was Republicans when I heard it on the CSpan coverage. I was surprised when I went to CNN that they made no mention of it.
Once again those sneaky Republicans are trying to make democrats look stupid.
Must be eating the fruit from the Maxine and Pelosi tree...
People haven’t caught on yet, but one front in this cold civil war going on in America is the Search Engine. I have been watching this happen for a few years now. A dem/lib says something idiotic (or telling of their actual vision of the future) it gets picked up in a few places and within a day or two you will see a variety of stories repeating their name over and over, using keywords very precise.
This is of course to quickly push down the news from casual observers in search results. God forbid someone from the left google De Leon and see him talking about how un-american Dems in congress are. If we are fighting the battle for ideals, the right needs to become expert in SEO algorithms and we need legislation to ensure engines do not put their hand on the scales.
Right now we’re outgunned simply because so many newspapers pick up the times (or reuters or AP) feed and republish. But we’re catching up.
This is an excellent example of strategy. He says something negative about Democrats in congress. Essentially calls them childish and non-american. Once people realize it’s the wrong party, NY Times spins up a long piece the next day with his name printed repeatedly to make sure that piece pushes down the previous pieces from the right.
Food for thought.
At first I thought it was Republicans celebrating too, it makes more sense than the rats singing, figuring the vote means they win a majority next election. Apperently it was a delibrete call back to Republicans chanting the same song to a rat Congresswoman in 1993 after she voted for Clinton’s budget/tax hike.
Goes to show you that hypocrisy is the mother’s milk of politics, and that there are way too many a-holes who were already there in 1993 to remember that.
“Feb 5, 2017 - California State Senate President Pro Tem Kevin De Léon (D-Los Angeles) said last Tuesday that half his family was in the country illegally, using false documents, ... practice by illegal aliens of using fraudulent documents to work and .... is good reason for the GOP having not yet used the nuclear option?”
Note to ICE: Go arrest and deport Leon’s wetback family! I’d pay money to watch his antics if they did.
It is the Same Illegal Alien Identity Stealing Family of Kevin Leon, funny thing is, I bet the majority of California Stupid that heard his remarks will believe it for the rest of their pathetic lives, simply because the press and entertainment industry won’t make fun of him.
Well said. Amen.
Well, *I* wasn’t in Congress in 1993, but I remember the story of how they sang “Na-Na Hey-Hey Kiss It Goodbye” to Congresswoman MMM (Marjorie MaSomethingorother-Mezvinsky, now Chelsea Clinton’s step-mother-in-law) because she was forced to cast the tie-breaking vote for the tax increase (due to last-minute Democrat defections) even though she represented economically conservative, traditionally Republican Paa-13 in Montgomery County, PA. My law-school roommate was from the Philly suburbs, and would tell the story of how MMM was near tears as she went to cast the vote. MMM did lose reelection in 1994 (to Jon Fox), and the GOP won control of the House for the first time in 50 years. (Alas, Fox was a weak incumbent, barely won reelection in 1996 and ten lost to Joe Hoeffel in 1998, and PA-13 now is a safely RAT CD.)
So if I were a congressional Democrat, I would know about that 1993 vote and naybe be tempted to sing that song in a pique of hubris as Republicans from CDs carried by Hillary voted for the bill. Of course, repealing Obamacare is not the equivalent of raising taxes and Republicans from states in which Obamacare (like, say, CA) can point to the fact that CA won’t opt out of the Obamacare requirements for health-insurance coverage and thus their voters won’t lose coverage.
