Carolina has been to only 2 playoffs in the time they have been in there, 1 of those years they won the Stanley Cup, rather amazing.

Carolina has definitely been to the playoffs more than twice. They made the playoffs in the following seasons:

1998-99
2000-01
2001-02 (lost in the Stanley Cup finals)
2005-06 (won the Stanley Cup)
2008-09
