Are there really no go zones for police?
Do Germans and Swiss and the French feel safe leaving their homes.
You would think bedlam is breaking out around the clock from the news one reads.
Only those who are there really know.
Personally, I never once had a problem with a Muslim.
There definitely is a problem of fanatics wanting to mass murder people. It is interesting IS could not pop off an attack of some kind yesterday, on schedule as it were.
DP,
I can tell you from my experiences in Bavaria; that the refugees are being quickly put to work. Those that refuse to work are being deported. It’s not happening anywhere near as fast as it should, but within a year or so the situation will return to normal.
I spend about 1/2 my time in and around Munich and have for some 30 years.
It’s important to understand Germany has a severe labor shortage and a massive budget surplus. Hundreds of thousands of great paying job openings do not have applicants ! The refugees are filling some of these open positions.
yes the refugees are consuming zillions, but the Germans have enough socked away that it doesn’t matter that much.
one should note in Bavaria there is a well organized official militia that reaches into every hamlet. It’s mainly a bunch of old chubby farts playing soldier in funny costumes lugging bolt action rifles around kinda drunk, but these guys form the basis of some tight knit social circles and don’t let outsiders cause trouble.
Bavaria cops tend to be friendly and chummy in a Andy Griffin way. Their back up is decidedly unfriendly and scary.
I have no idea what it’s like in the north of Germany.
‘Are there really no go zones for police?’
Have a look at a French policeman getting molotov cocktailed. Scary stuff.
