FBI Director James B. Comey overstated key findings involving the Hillary Clinton email investigation during testimony to Congress last week, according to people close to the inquiry.
In defending the probe, Comey offered seemingly new details to underscore the seriousness of the situation FBI agents faced last fall when they discovered thousands of Clinton aide Huma Abedin’s emails on the computer of her husband, Anthony Weiner.
“Somehow, her emails were being forwarded to Anthony Weiner, including classified information,” Comey said, adding later, “His then-spouse Huma Abedin appears to have had a regular practice of forwarding emails to him for him I think to print out for her so she could then deliver them to the secretary of state.”
At another point in the testimony, Comey said Abedin “forwarded hundreds and thousands of emails, some of which contain classified information.’’
Neither of those statements is accurate, said people close to the investigation. The inquiry found that Abedin did occasionally forward emails to her husband for printing, but it was a far smaller number than Comey described, and it wasn’t a “regular practice,” these people said. None of the forwarded emails were marked classified, but a small number — a handful, one person said — contained information that was later judged to contain classified information, these people said.
Justice Department and FBI officials are considering whether and how to clarify the misstatements, said people familiar with the matter.

The FACTS are that the FBI did NOT investigate DNC
computers but took all of this on the hearsay of
Clinton and her operatives.

This article basically says the opposite of the title. Comey was right in what he said, but the article is arguing that the degree and volume were not accurate. This is an attempt by pro hillary/abedin/etc. to lessen the impact of these obvious criminal acts so charges are not brought up or recommended.
Because lots of people who work for the Federal Government would rather print out their important e-mails at home, on their antediluvian dot matrix printer, rather than on their super-modern govt. color printer.
I mean: Right?

if hildabeast needed hard copies, why didn’t huma just print them on the office printer?
Only the Clinton’s could get the media to go along with something as stupid as a document being “later found to be classified”
It is classified when it is created, or not.
Once it is released into the public, you can’t recall it and ‘classify’ the information- it’s already out.
As soon as I read that in this article I though that this must be a libtard journalists from a media rag, and I was right.
I thought it was the NYPD who first talked about the number of emails on the laptop ?
It would be interesting to find that wikileaks actually came off Huma's "at home" computer.
