In my experience powdered milk is more expensive than fresh liquid milk. I use it (only for cooking).

To produce it, they have to start with fresh milk, then incur additional processing costs.

You don’t have to tell me! I was born in, and other than my time in the Army, will ALWAYS live in Wisconsin. We. Know. Milk.

BUT - powdered milk is good to have on hand if you’re stuck in a blizzard, or if TSHTF in a Big Way.

It’s a ‘Prepper’ staple.
