Trump administration must release Clinton emails State Department tried to hide
Hill, the ^ | 08 May 2017 | Tom Fitton

I have some good news and some bad news regarding the ongoing search for the truth concerning the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack.

First the good news: Judicial Watch recently announced that on March 20, 2017, U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson ordered the U.S. Department of State to release to Judicial Watch “eight identical paragraphs” of previously redacted material in two emails from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton

The emails detail phone calls made by President Obama to Egyptian and Libyan leaders immediately following the terrorist attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi. The emails have the subject line “Quick Summary of POTUS Calls to Presidents of Libya and Egypt” and were among the emails stored on Clinton’s non-government email server. Judge Jackson reviewed the documents in-camera and rejected the government’s contention that the records had been properly withheld under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) B(5) “deliberative process” exemption.

Judge Jackson ruled, “The two records, even if just barely predecisional, are not deliberative. [The State Department] has pointed to very little to support its characterization of these two records as deliberative, and the Court’s in camera review of the documents reveals that they do not fall within that category.”

The full emails may reveal what former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and President Obama knew about the Sept. 11, 2012, terror attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi – prior to Susan Rice’s contention that the Benghazi attack was a reaction to an anti-Muslim video on YouTube.

The bad news is that— following close upon the heels of Judge Jackson’s March 20 ruling – the State Department asked the court to reconsider. The State Department is arguing that, due to an internal “mistake,” it failed to claim that the emails were classified and, therefore, should be exempt from production under FOIA Exemption B(1), which is reserved information related to national security.

State Department still trying to cover up for Hillary, Huma and Obama?

Cause they're part of The Resistance, and are behaving as if Hillary had won.

Its not a “mistake”...the problem is the email were on the privite server.. If you say they were classified than a mean she was mishandling classified information

So They want these emails to be both classified and unclassified...at the same time....
...unclassified when she’s has them found on her private server but classified when anyone wants to see them

Why is the Trump State Department still trying to cover up for Hillary, Huma and Obama?

The story and concomitant crimes are monumental....Trump has to make sure no stone is left unturned.

==================================================

Huma Abedin — Clinton's top deputy — testified she made “a regular practice” of forwarding “hundreds and thousands” of Clinton messages to her perv husband, “some of which contain classified information.

But Comey blithely testified to Congress that Abedin had done this so that the disgraced former congressman could print them out for Hillary.

This is so blatantly untrue----doesnt the trillion dollar US govt have copying machines? And office staff to do this?

Did it ever occur to Comey that Huma and her husband wire-transferred the classified intel out of the country---
to America's enemies? Huma has global Muslim contacts --- people who'd pay large sums for US intel.

==========================================

This'll give you nightmares, people.....counting up the endless line of Huma's cousins w/ their greedy Muslim hands in the State Dept cookie jar.

UNDER HOUSE ARREST---This smirking creep is Huma's first cousin AKA a serial swindler
He subsidized businesses w/ our tax dollars looted from Hillary's State Dept. Six million dollars is missing.

EXCERPT--“Thanks for getting in touch. Would love to arrange a meeting,” Huma Abedin replied in a June 23, 2009, email to her cousin Omar Amanat and Shamil Idriss, who heads New York-based Soliya Inc.

In May 2010, then-Secy Clinton helped Soliya get access to U.N. funding by making the U.S. a participant in a U.N. high-tech media initiative called the Alliance of Civilizations. Then in October 2010, the State Department directly awarded Soliya $1.25 million for a media technology project. “Huma helped Omar make KIT appear more valuable because of its association with the Alliance of Civilizations, which was approved by Hillary and funded in part by U.S. grants (tax dollars),” said an attorney familiar with the case.

“This helped Omar raise money for KIT, which he and his brother misappropriated for other purposes. Approximately $6 million has vanished.”

Amanat took KIT Digital public in August 2009. At the time, Amanat, known as a “serial swindler,” was in personal bankruptcy and being sued by other investors. Despite his reputation, he still managed to gain special access to US government tax dollars thanks to his ties to his well-positioned cousin and the Clinton Foundation.

THE MONEY LAUNDRY Records show that Amanat and several other family members and related charities have together donated as much as $1.2 million to the Clinton Foundation and Clinton Global Initiative, as well as the Clinton Health Access Initiative. Amanat, who personally contributed as much as $25,000 to the Clinton Foundation, was appointed to the Council on Foreign Relations during the time that Hillary Clinton was serving as secretary of state.

While the FBI has apparently closed its espionage investigation into Clinton’s unsecured private email server (the House has reopened it), its public corruption investigation into the Clinton Foundation remains open.

It’s not clear if this still-active probe overlaps with the Amanat fraud investigation. However, investigators reportedly continue to look into alleged “pay-for-play” schemes involving the Clinton State Department and the Clinton Foundation and its wealthy donors, as well as entities that paid the Clintons millions of dollars in speaking fees.

Judicial Watch and other government watchdog groups have charged that the Clinton Foundation was a pay-for-play operation that rewarded its benefactors with State Department favors.....and cash. H announces firing of Comey

I can’t understand why the Trump/Tillerson State Department would oppose the release, but what’s really troubling me is the continuing presumption that any of the information in any of these emails is still classified and not releasable to the American public when, according to multiple reports, several foreign governments already have them in their possession...

They will be saved for... 2020, 2024, 2028 , 2032 and every democrat referenced in her emails will have a nice drip drip drip every election cycle. The Hill demands them now so they can have them thrown down the memory hole.

Why is the Trump State Department still trying to cover up for Hillary, Huma and Obama?

The State Department has 11,000 civil service employees (plus 13,000 foreign service employees, plus 43,000 foreign service "local" employees).... that's a LARGE swamp and will take time to clean up.
