I’m guessing not that much in NY and quite a bit in NM.

A state can be quite blue in parts but still have significant resources and people who want to use those resources.

I know. I grew up in a timber county in Oregon.

I’m guessing that this has more to do with shielding the current coal mining interests from competition, and in turn, keep the prices of coal propped up via artificial scarcity.

After obama waged his “war on coal”, and bankrupted nearly every coal mining company in the US, guess who was going around snapping those companies and claims for pennies on the dollar?

These “judges” in these states need to have the DOJ go up their asses with a microscope, and be investigated for collusion and bribery.
