However it is hard to find agricultural jobs in Antarctica or above the arctic circle, where it is much cooler than in Central America or southern California. The workers should also drink more water & their employers to make sure the water is available. It was very hot working out in the fields weeding onions, potatoes, mint and corn during the summers when I was a child. The team foreman always made sure we drank enough water and took salt pills.

I'll see your weeding onions and raise you loading hay bales onto wagons in South Louisiana, in August. And yes, it "was" hot.
