If these are simple hackers, track them down and shoot them in their chairs. No arrests. If state sponsored drop a MOAB on each location of origination.

I went to pick up a package at the local FedEx facility this morning. No one was in the front office for a few minutes. Then when the employee came in from the back he apologized, saying they were going around shutting off all their PCs due to a malware attack.
I wonder which one of Obama’s employees was ‘extremely careless’, put highly classified information on servers in several unsecure locations, and thereby left a bright and shining path right into NSA Central??!

It’s important to ensure compatibility by continuing to rent the operating system chosen by professionals worldwide. It’s the choice as wise as paying rent in a mobile home park in tornado alley.

This is F&F the Nth degree; the exact kind of sh!t needed when ‘they’ come demanding, “Hand over your Freedoms, or...”. Jobs, bank acct, credit ratings, mortgages...all held hostage, thank to Uncle Sugar.
All jokes and blame aside, this is being heavily exploited and is condition red/severity A across every major security vendor in the world. If you think you are safe by not patching your machine, you're in for a rude awakening.
If you think you're safe using an operating system older than Vista, you're really just biding your time until you lose everything.
This vulnerability is in the SMB (Server Message Block) framework and is very easy to exploit.
Please do not become a statistic!

I’ve added lots of filters to my email. About 40% of the email I receive is intercepted by the filters. In addition, my ISP has a block list for email which I use. The ISP sends me a list on a monthly basis listing the emails that have been blocked.
You can’t be too careful.
