Thinking like that is precisely what got ME Christians in the pickle they are experiencing now ... just like the one in 620 AD when they turned the other cheek to the advancing muslims who slaughtered them, bringing on the Dark Ages, the utter destruction of the ‘grain basket of Europe’ (Northern Africa), the near collapse of Christianity - the utter loss of Classical Christianity, and the destruction of most of the world’s scientific knowledge, literature, and history.
There’s a saying about this sort of historical behavior ...
