ALPINE — Utah will lose perhaps its most visible member of Congress when Rep. Jason Chaffetz leaves office before his fifth term ends to pursue a job in the private sector.
The conservative Republican announced Thursday that he would resign effective June 30, saying it's time for him and his wife, Julie, to move on from that part of their lives.

There are reports he will head a major lobbyist group and blather on Fox News. Chaffetz is only 50. I predict a run for president 2020 or later in an attempt to fulfill the White Horse Prophecy. Romney redux.

Joe Scarboro announced his quitting several years back about this time to ‘spend more time with his family.’ It was to be effective in September when his kids went back to school. Even the ‘conservatives’ are phony.
