Clearly she is not clockboy and therefore guilty.
If we are this idiotic, then yes the terrorists have accomplished one of their major goals already.

Guess those 300+ rounds of 9mm and targets i keep in my car would scare a bunch of whole foods people too. (Especialy the used VTAC ones with 10 holes in the head). Never know when i am near the range and have some free time.
This isn’t journalism. If it were, you would not have to ask the following questions:
1) Did police question the woman before arresting her?
2) How did police manage to obtain the physical device? Was it via a warrant? Did the woman grant permission? Did cops force entry?
3) What is the Virginia law enforcement protocol governing cops in situations like this? Do they have broad latitdude to act unilaterally, and then ask questions later?
4) What effort did police make to verify her story? Since- the device was purchased innocently at a local yard sale, were the original owners who sold it contacted? If so,
Will cops now go and arrest the original owners retroactively?
Aside from the shoddy reporting, this incident underscores the crumbling protocols for law enforcement in this country, IMO. Time for a Constitutional primer on “search and seizure.” (My dad was in law enforcement, so I’m not knocking cops)
The woman’s logic is impeccable:
“It was available on the market. If its legal to sell why shouldnt it be legal for me to have it?”
Pray things work well for her.
