I have been friends, or at least friendly acquaintances with at least 3 transgender/cross-dressing individuals for 30 to 40 years. Basically, they were good, loyal, helpful individuals. Did they have problems? Sure. So do I. Who doesn't? Were they delusional? Yes, as were some of the “unreconstructed confederates” and far Left “progressives” I have known/do know now. Sometimes they were irritating, but never as dangerously threatening as the progressives.

With each passing year I find myself less interested in people with whom I have little in common; never had any sexual deviant friends, now find it hard to deal with ethnically diverse friends. Just not interested anymore; more comfortable with my own tribe.

The other possibility is young adults lying because they don’t want to be condemned for giving the wrong answer, just as several percent of Trump voters refused to admit such in surveys.

Concerning your sexually confused friends, do you enter into their delusion by calling them “her” or “she” if they are men in dresses?
That’s the problem I would have with such a friendship. I could not sacrifice truth for a friendship.
