Strong words, Wednesday, from Polands conservative prime minister, Beata Szydło, in reaction to EU threats to force her country to accept migrants or face massive fines.
Poland will not submit to any blackmail on the part of the European Union, Szydło stated during a parliamentary debate, adding that her Central European nation would not be participating in the madness of the Brussels elites.
Referencing the Islamist suicide bombing which killed 22, mainly children, and injured dozens more at a pop concert in Manchester this week, the Catholic prime minister said she had the courage to call out the EUs political elites on their folly.
Two Polish citizens were amongst those killed on Monday nights atrocity in Manchester.
Where are you going, Europe? Get up off your knees. Get out of your lethargy. Otherwise you will be crying every day for your children, she warned, stating that Poland had no intention of accepting Brussels-imposed migrants.
Szydło also accused her liberal opposition of supporting EU migrant policy, and in doing so going hand in hand with those who point a gun at Europe, at us all.
Only last week, the European Commission again warned Poland of consequences if it continued to refuse to take in migrants from camps in Italy and Greece, a decision which the previous government was set to implement. Since Szydłos Law and Justice Party came to power in October 2015, however, they have refused to resettle one single migrant, frustrating and infuriating Brussels.

Stand proud, Poland; you elected a winner who puts YOUR interests first.
The Poles are a very strong, determined, and basically conservative people. Good on them...
Will the USA stand with Poland when the EU (Germans and French) invades them again?
Becaue that’s what this comes down to is an eventual war in Europe.
Start billing the EU for the migrants you have been forced to accept. Issue arrest warrants for EU ruling members everytime one of their immigrants kills a group of your citizens.
She is right of course. It makes no sense unless you want to kill your citizens.
[Her Central European nation would not be participating in the madness of the Brussels elites.]
The TRUMP EFFECT is working.
Excellent.
But don’t forget that Hungary was first to stand strong and not allow in the hordes.
Bravo! Tell the EU weenies to go to hell, they can drink the kool aid but Poland will not and when the rest of Europe is gone Poland will still be there.
“Will the USA stand with Poland when the EU (Germans and French) invades them again?”
NATO doesn’t distinguish between an attack by a member of NATO or an attack by a non-member. Either way, Poland could call for invocation of Article 5 against the aggressors.
It's WW3 and the bankers and the EU elite are winning. President Trump is correct to stand up to them.
His speech, by the way, should go down in history as being even greater than that damn Bloody Bess's everyone yammers about.
Proof the Poles are much smarter than Western Europeans.
They need to invite Vlad over to discuss whether they should re-align. That would put the squeeze on the Ukrainian Sorosites. And give them some leverage with the Krauts.
Bravo Poland. Keep in mind also that they are probably receiving strong pressure from Russia to keep muslims out.
I’m convinced that in a decade most of the Eastern European countries will kick out the token military forces that NATO has given them and align with Russia...another country that seems to understand Islam and is in no mood to surrender to anyone.
The REAL THREAT to Eastern Europe will start when the Islamic forces in Western Europe start moving into government and pushing those countries (before outright taking over the governments) to take on ‘the Infidel’ to the East. At that point, Russia will be their only hope.
