Worked under him indirectly. A harsh, severe and strict man. Far to the right of the president he served, which wasn’t hard to be. A globalist’s globalist. Amazing that Kissinger is outliving all these people.

Amazing that Kissinger is outliving all these people. His time also will come, as will ours.
The man who seems to be outliving everyone is Billy Graham.

Amazing that Kissinger is outliving all these people.I just noticed that Kissinger is three days older than my Dad would have been. My Dad was born on traditional Memorial Day, May 30, 1923.

Known for his hawkish views on the CCCP, brilliant strategist, he UTTERLY failed during the Carter Presidency in terms of US Foreign policy. He failed vis Afghanistan, he failed in the Middle East (losing Iran) and he led Carter (and the American people) down the toilet for deterrence. More recently, this fool misread Iran and openly called for the US to shoot down Israeli aircraft IF they were on their way to hit Iran. He was also vehemently opposed to the State of Israel who turns out to have been right all along regarding Iran and her nuclear bid. So goodbye “Zbig” and so long for all the (rotten)fish!

Worked under him indirectly. A harsh, severe and strict man. Far to the right of the president he served, which wasnt hard to be. A globalists globalist. Amazing that Kissinger is outliving all these people.Brzezinski was rightwing by Cold War standards, in that there was no denying his strong, sincere anti-Communism and anti-Sovietism (most people seem to forget that talk of arming the Afghan Mujahadeen started under the Carter administration thanks to a large part to Brzezinski rather than being initiated by Reagan).
On the other hand, B's anti-Communism wasn't motivated by any nationalist or real conservative instincts. He simply believed that globalism should work under a capitalist economy rather than a socialist economy, and that the world without borders that he dreamed of should be initiated from the US rather than the Soviet Union. That's why the pro-Soviet Left hated Brzezinsky 30-40 years ago while today's Globalist Left thinks of him as one of the club.
