Gary Cohn never should've been brought in. He's a Goldman-Sachs guy who supported hillary. And now he's openly speaking out against aspects of the Trump agenda which are important to Deplorables! Is he wittingly or unwittingly one of the leakers?

President Trump, this is a swamp thing you brought in. It's reverting to the hideous beast it is. Fire Hum! The coup can never be stopped if you've brought in people who are sympathetic to the traitors!

“Personnel is policy and Trump unfortunately has made many poor personnel decisions in staffing his WH and cabinet.”

Major party nominees for POTUS are career politicians who have widespread connections throughout the party, academia and industry. By the time they win the nomination they are well down the road of mapping out who will fill the 3000 key roles in the administration and have staff working to complete the organization charts so if they win they can begin vetting the candidates and making the nominations the day after Election Day.

Trump assigned Chris Christie during the campaign to head up the transition team. Christie did virtually nothing to prepare the Trump team to transition from campaigning to governing. The day after the election the Trump administration was almost starting from scratch to identify people and vet them.

Trump’s dilemma was having only 2 1/2 months to build an administration that should have been almost ready to go on Election Day. The establishment Republican politicians had fought him so he wasn’t going to reward them with the top positions. He didn’t personally know enough skilled people to fill 3000 jobs. Like all humans he relied on the people close to him — Ivanka, Jared, and other New Yorkers. Most New Yorkers are progressives.

Now we have an administration filled with left leaning Ivy League educated “smart” people just like a typical Democrat administration. They are either holding over the Obama people or filling lower level jobs with people like themselves.

The staff controls the flow of information to the POTUS. Look at the people around Trump. Bannon has been neutered, Kelly Ann Conway is now invisible. The people surrounding Trump are northeastern progressives who have solidified their positions and are impacting policy. Hence:

1). No Obamacare repeal. They elected to go after “replacement” instead of straight repeal and barely passed “replacement” in the House. “Replacement” is dead in the Senate. McConnell says the votes aren’t there to pass it. There will be no repeal or replacement and Obamacare will continue until it actually collapses. At that time the collapse will be blamed by the Democrats and the media on Trump and the GOP. Repeal should have happened in the first 100 days but since the opportunity was missed we will have single payer healthcare when Obamacare collapses and the progressives surrounding Trump will be happy.

2). Immigration and the wall. Most of the people surrounding Trump are open borders advocates. The wall did not get funded in the budget. The GOP Senate is against it. Most of Trump’s advisors are against it , most importantly Ivanka and Jared. The wall has been forgotten. A few miles may be built for show, using discretionary money, but real border security will not happen.

3). Climate change. Not hard to see where this is going. Too many people make too much money on climate change. The Wall Street bankers filling many key positions will make sure the money continues to flow to the environmental lobby and special interests.

4). Taxes. The country desperately needs tax simplification and reform. The bill should have been ready to go on Inauguration Day. It is clear the work on a tax bill hasn’t even started in the administration or Congress. If it doesn’t happen this year, it won’t happen in an election year. It is doubtful now a meaningful tax bill can be written and pushed through Congress in 2017.

5). 2018 Budget. GOP congressional leaders have declared Trump’s budget dead on arrival. The GOP Congress will once again go through the motions during the summer and come up in the fall with another continuing resolution instead of a budget. McConnell and Ryan are incapable of leading the budget process and driving Congress to making hard spending choices. It is so much easier to keep spending going through continuing resolutions or one giant pork laden omnibus bill. After all the last time Congress passed all twelve appropriations bills on time was 1997.

6). Infrastructure bill. There may be an infrastructure bill and it will be filled with pork projects for individual legislators, not meaningful infrastructure projects to enhance the overall economy.

7). Defense. There will be higher defense spending and billions will flow to the defense contractors, for expensive and complex equipment, so the US can continue to meddle in the affairs of nations around the world. There will be no money for defending the homeland (hardening the grid against EMP, missile defense system for example).

The way things are shaping up, other than the daily media hysteria, this administration from a policy perspective looks like a Jeb Bush or John Kasich administration.

Conservatives need not apply for the remaining positions to be filled.

I am baffled why he brought on a Democrat who voted for Hillary as his advisor.

I call it the Kushner Effect, and it's pure political poison.

Unfortunately all that is too true.

And they time these liberal Democrat policy flips for a Friday afternoon before a big three-day weekend, so as to minimize the blowback from those who put him in office.

Along with the God-awful new entitlement that Ivanka has put into Trump’s budget, and the Paris accord/coal flips that are just a downpayment on Ivanka claiming she wants climate change to be one of her signature issues, we have more refugees coming in.

Here’s a reminder of Ivanka’s pro-Syrian “refugee” position: https://www.nytimes.com/2017/04/26/us/politics/ivanka-trump-syria-refugees-humanitarian-crisis.html?action=click&contentCollection=Politics&module=RelatedCoverage&region=Marginalia&pgtype=article

His purported mistress, Dina Powell, is reported to be a major leaker over at the NSC. (Also a close friend of Valerie Jarrett, Chelsea Clinton, and Ivanka Trump.)

Speaking of the coup, he better not pick McCabe for FBI Director or the corruption and leaks will never stop. Pick Rudy Giuliani.

Until he changes course and accepts the Paris treaty I’m not believing any article here. The MSM wants to divide us and discourage us, but until a decision comes out showing he accepts the accords, this is pure agitprop and nothing more.

The freeper negative nellies need to grow a spine, stop whining and join the fight against the leftist enemy.

I guess we will find out this week as FNC just said he is re-thinking this. I would hope this is fake news. If not, his presidency will be short-lived.

I have heard his daughter and son in law are pro-Paris treaty.

And we heard for three months that Bannon was out, leaving, powerless, etc.

Only to find he’s heading up the newly formed war room to take on leakers and the stupid Russia story. He’s just as powerful as ever.

And we heard he would cave when he met with Algore and decaprio. Then he puts Pruitt the denier to head the EPA.

The list is endless, and to date all these reports have been wrong.

The nervous nellies on here should be ashamed, but they aren’t.

Like so many, Cihn is staring HIS view, not Trump’s. That’s two strikes in two days. He needs to go.

My views are evolving, too. First, I disliked the agreement, then I hated it, and now I despise it.
