It is ironic you bash the only man that could save Europe and America, Donald Trump.

Trump is the only one that could stop Islam and China.

Europe will fall hard to Islam and to China as China will industrialize Europe. China is taking over the world economically as we speak.\

You all failed to elects Lepen which would have stopped the Islamic invasion of Europe. Islam is a cult. And no that is not racism as Islam is a religion not a race

I understand the forces aligned against him (and against us). I realize it's going to take time to start to right the ship of state after so many years/decades of neglect.

This is the plain truth of the matter! With so many against him, it's a wonder he has gotten anything done.

Well...Bless your heart...You don’t need us, want us or like us.
We haven’t cut ties to old friends...we want to be treated more fairly when deals re made.

I wish all good things for Europe...and may Russia and the Chinese and Iran never be rude to you.

Well, to me as an observer from the outside it seems a relief to you people that your new president is cutting all connections to the former friends of the US fast.

Trump is not cutting all connections to our long term allies.

Quite the opposite, those long term allies want the U.S. to remain in an agreement that hinders the United States more than any other nation.  The United States has already paid into the Paris Agreement (a very large amount) thanks to our last presient that was essentially an enemy of the state (and termed that for a number of just reasons).  India and China?  They haven't paid in a dime yet.  This agreement not only made demands of the U.S. it didn't certain others, it also set up problems that would have hindered U.S. businesses competitively.  No thanks.

Then there is the issue of European nations not living up to their agreements under NATA to contribute 2% of their GDP toward self-defense.  The U.S. pays over 4% of it's GDP for this purpose, so we weren't asking for more than we would be willing to pay, or even as much as we would pay.  European nations agreed to pay less than half what we pay.  Then they didn't step up and do it.  Now the U.S. is judged by some people to be the bad guy.  No, it really isn't.

It is not the will to earn money or to have a fair distribution of the nato-burden. It is the harsh, rude and unpolite appearence of your politicians that will divorce us.

European nations have not lived up to their agreements to spend 2% of their GDP toward their self-defense for decades now.  European nations came up with the Paris Agreement that was designed to be very unfair to the U.S.  The U.S. called the European nations on both these things.  That is not being rude.  It is simply our presdient standing up for the United States, and properly so.  We have a right to have self-interest, and in neither of these things did the United States demand something unfair of the European nations.  However, the European nations were doing things unfair to the United States.  So who was being rude?

The outcome could be difficult for the US anyway. I think it will not pay out since the Europeans i.e. will increase their millitary spending, but not in the wishes of the US. They will spend it on further millitary integration in Europe itself (to get one nuclear equipped army in central Europe).  This could cost the US Ramstein as a base in the long run.

During the first half of the 20th Century, Europe melted down twice.  Each time the conflicts went global, and each time the United States sent over it's young men to die on your behalf.  Currently as explained above, the European nations are out of line on two matters.  The United States called them on it, and you seek to trash to U.S. for doing so.

Now you have even advanced the idea that you think it would be a grand idea to create a nuclear armed force in the European Union.
Do you think the United States is going to come bail your asses out again, now that you are allowing people who are diametrically opposed to your culture, to swarm in and alter it?  And what happens when they have swamped your nations, and you have armed them with nuclear weapons?  What the heck are you folks thinking?

This in the shadow of agreements with old allies where these European nations refused to live up to their own agreements.  This in the shadow of them trying to set the United States up in a disadvantaged postion.  This in the shadow of an agreement to stop man made global warming, which has not been proven to date.  This is acknowledge as demands for such action are now done on the basis of "climate change" needing to be addressed, not "man made" global warming.

Over 31,000 scientists have signed on to a disagreeing position as it relates to man made global warming.  It isn't true.  LINK

Further, it is acknowledged that if every nation complied with this agreement, almost no noticable change would be realized over the life of the agreement.  Here is thread discussing it.  LINK

Why would any sane nation buy into this?

Let me ask you this.  If the United States were spending 0.5% of it's GNP towards it's own defence, and the European nations were spending 4% of their GDP on defense, which would cover the United States if it was attacked, would you think the U.S. was being a good global partner?  The answer is, "Of course not!"  You would demand the United States clean up it's act.  Why then, do you give Europe a free pass for doing the same thing in reverse?

As for the Paris Agreement, it made requirements on the U.S., and then almost none on India or China for the next 15 years.  So while India and China competes with the U.S. for global trade, the Paris agreement would have given these two nations a massive advantage.  Would you sit still and allow Europe to be treated that way?  Perhaps you would, because I'm sure European nations are expected to contribute to the Paris agreement a lot more than China or India are, and the trade policies would also put Europe at a disadvantage.  So why are you willing to hobble Europe, and give India and China a free pass?

What's more, why are you so angry at the United Statees for simply asking other nations to honor their agreements, and for refusing to be unfairly hampered by international agreements?

The Paris treaty will survive. Without the US.

So what you are saying, is that despite there not being a global warming calamity, despite the fact that full compliance with the Paris agreement will not achieve anything, you are hopeful that your nation will spend trillions of dollars on carbon redistribution scams to line the pockets of people like Al Gore.  IT IS A HOAX, and people are sucking Western nations dry.  Why are you suckering for all this.

Maybe someday we and others (like the Chinese and the Russians) simply put enviroment tariffs on US goods.

So what you are saying is this.  If the U.S. won't buy into the Paris agreement and submit to having trillions of dollars bilked out of it taxpayers, you will support the idea that they should be bilked instead through tariffs.  Gosh, with friends like you...

Imagine what vitriol you would be spewing if we hadn't prevented all of Europe from speaking German or Russian.

It is also possible that the successor of President Trump joins in again.

Well, I hate to break it to you, but Trump is going to be president for seven more years.  At the end of that seven years his policies will have worked so well, his vice-president will continue on for another eight years.  Enjoy rumenating over this for the next 15.5 years..

The exit made clear to most Europeans, that the current US-gouvernment is not reliable anymore. Pacta sunt servanda.

Those Europeans are free to think whatever they want.  They can come up with a massive reaction based on a false premise if they want.  I would urge them not to, but if they want to ostricise the United States while flooding their own nations with foreign nationals that will never become Westerized, then so be it.  When you need us to come back to help you again, I'll recommend against it.  If the time should arrise when we would need to, and it's only a matter of time watching what you are agreeing to do, then you will have proven that it's simply not worth it to bail out the decendends of our ancestry.  It will have been the third time we were called on to bail you out, and we did try to warn you.

Beside of this Europe will find new friends fast. The Chinese and the Russians starve for the technology that is only available in contemporary Europe.

So you're saying you're not satisfied with flooding your nations with Muslim individuals, knowing they will never leave Islam, and the Islamic religion considers Christians infidels, and will not give up until there are no Christians, and the judeo-Christian laws systems of the West are overturned and replaced with Sharia law.  Whether you know it or not, this has already begun, as certain neighborhoods have been given the right to implement Sharia Courts and take a bass on the Western Judicial system.

While you may be thinking that's no big deal, let's discuss what Sharia courts believe.  They believe that women are the property of men.  They believe that women should not get an education.  They beleive that young girls pre ten years old are deserving of being give to old men as wives.  They agree that women who are raped are deserving of being stoned.  They agree that it is desired for young girls to have their genitalia surgically butchered.

Once these Sharia areas are established, and the regions where they are observed expand, guess what type of law you will eventually face?  It won't be judeo-Christian coursts.  It will be Sharia courts.  In those courts, Islam rules and Chritians have no rights.

No, this isn't bad enough, you want to open your doors to the Russians and China.

You wish to hitch your waggon to the folks who absorbed Crimea, invaded the Ukrain, and rolled tanks over their college age kids in Taienenman.

About all there is left to do, is simply shake my head.

You folks learned absolutely nothing from history.

Even you guys are not able to win the technical competition against the big European industrial trusts in the meantime, since your country and the UK were widely deindustrialized while in central Europe all big industrial players survived. The US can produce some up-to-date millitary BS...

Sorry, I realize you were in the middle of what you thought was a sane tirade, but I needed to jump in to remind you of some things.  The up to date military B.S. we have paid for, was in large part to take on war efforts so you would not have to.  The U.S. wasn't on the front lines of Europe.  You were.  It wasn't the only naton that benefitted from wars in the Middle-East.  While you sit there typing paragraph after paragraph of bilge, you have no idea how much of a free-loader you have been for over 70 years.  To this point, you not only don't realize it, but you're also poised to trash the nation that went around the world putting out hot spots while your nations spend their funds domestically.  Instead of you realizing why they could get away with it, and thank us, you sit there preaching to us about insulting behavior.  You haven't a single clue do you.

...but all other products are somehow outdated (except of the I-phone)... No one buys US-washers, US-cars, US-steel, US-ships, US-machines, US-fridges or whatever else since most of those products are simply not competitive anymore.

Where do you think China got the technology to produce some of these things?  Europe?  LMAO  U.S. corporations went to China, and started up production there.  Many of the items we buy in the United States, and are also shipped around the world, are the products produced with our technology.  You really don't know very much do you.

As for U.S. vehicles, you didn't even know that U.S. automobile plants exist in Europe, and we are selling vehicles there.  Why should I have to remind you of that?

They need too much energy, are not convenient enough, are too expensive and produce too much carbon dioxide. It is simply not enough to sell weapons to barbarians in Saudi Arabia. You will fall hard.

So much moronic trash-talk, so little time...

We buy products made in China by choice.  We don't make a number of things here anymore, and many of us are not happy about it.  None the less, fact are facts, and the items you address are coming from China and are in many cases great energy saving devices.  If we don't have to use energy, what do you think that accomplishes?  Oh yes, it achieves clean air.  DUH!  As for carbon dioxide, we have made great advances since the 1960s and 70s.  Our cities that used to have over 200 smog alert days per year based on foul air, now have perhaps 1 to 3 such days per year.

It's not enough to spew what you're spewing, you should touch on reality once in a while.
Read something besides the socialist digest once in a while.

What you're spewing here has very little to do with reality.  It is pure propaganda.  You've been taken in.

You Americans put “America first”. This is okay.

Gee thanks.  As if we needed your permission.  The fact is though, it's not okay with you at all.  You wanted us to accept situations that were not reasoned.  Sorry, that just isn't going to happen.  And no, I guess I'm not really sorry.  I'm damned happy about it.

But we will always put “Europe first” although we do not shout it out as unpolitely as some people in the US. We simply do it smarter.

Like allowing a Sharia observing region of people to relocate into your nation.  That's what you consider "Europe First"?  Good grief.  Why did we bother rescuing your sorry asses?

Since the US is under 10% of our foreign sale a drop out will hurt but not killl us. America is on the decline anyway since a long time. We are not impressed.

On January 1st, 2015, the EU had a population of 508.2 million people.  LINK  During 2014 it achieved 23.8% of the global GDP.  LINK
On January 1st, 2015, the US had a population of 320.1 million people.  LINK  During 2014 it achieved 22.2% of the global GDP.  LINK

With a populace that was 37% larger than the populace of the United States at the end of 2014, the EU achieved a GDP that was 6.7% larger in 2014.

If we evaluate the GDP on a per capita basis, for each citizen of the EU vs the US, the EU would put out 1 unit toward their GDP, while the US citizen would put out 1.48 toward the US GDP.

I must have misunderstood you.  Were you trying to put down a nation whose citizens contribute almost half again as much to their nation's GDP, as citizens of the EU do towards their GDP?

Regards from Europe

Regards?  LOL  More like, disrespect...

Andreas

(After this I’ll probably be zotted away - but it had to be said. Sorry.)

73 years ago we sent thousands of our men to their death or permanent injury by landing at Normandy to establish a beachhead and free Europe.

Yesterday one jihadi terrorist gripped all of Paris in terror because he killed a police officer with a hammer.........and Europe will become a military power we will have to worry about? You cannot contribute 2% of your GDP to NATO that has guarded you for more near 3/4 of a century, but will suddenly be able to create a formidable and cohesive defense? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

It is simply not enough to sell weapons to barbarians in Saudi Arabia.

And yet, you import them from Syria, Tunisia, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, and on and on. They murder and rape your women and you lack the testicular fortitude to even tell the truth about it, let alone to fight it.

Imagine if the Nazis or later the Soviets had merely claimed they wished to be refugees whilst they killed you from the inside out.

You exist because our grace and kindness has allowed it so. You exist because we decreed our blood and treasure was worth your existence. You have lived in a bubble of security, relatively safe from outside aggression because we have instituted the PAX AMERICANA. Rather than spend on your own defense you have chosen to increase your welfare state and throw open your doors to those who wish to destroy you.

All that we have asked for in return is equitable trade parameters and you bitch and howl. You devised the "Paris Treaty," to which our Senate never ratified and never consented. You expected to bilk billions and billions as penalty for our industry......which you claim is declining anyhow, and would mean decreased carbon emissions (why tax and discourage something already fading to nonexistence?)?! - Your diametrically opposed arguments reveal the intent of your scam and the depth of your "friendship."

Fair-weather friends are thee, and your threats are dreadful......we're all shaking like frenchmen in combat.......

Uh well. WWII is over. The US base in Ramstein consists of cargo planes and a hospital. Nothing that could impress us.

If it was your kindness and grace that let survive us you made a bad deal since nobody here seems to be your real friend. We obviously do not like each other. We would have even survived without you under Soviet (they won WWII with their blood btw.) reign.

Sure......the purges would've been wonderful for you. And, let's not forget about the Soviet engineered famines, those would've been great for you too.

I agree - we have a history of making bad deals such as the Marshall Plan. We should leave europe to europe.

And, the next time you get around to slaughtering each other we should just sit back and crack a cold one, and smile.
