Thanks for putting into words what many of us here believe.
I agree that President Trump is the BEST President we had had since 1/20/89, and that his wonderful tenure thus far in only 128 days has shown us what we have been sorely lacking in leadership for 28 years.
You also rightly point out that the GOP has no game plan—they have been exposed as Dem-lite, similar to the fraud that was behind the curtain in the Wizard of Oz.
It has also become apparent that President Trump is the man in the arena fighting all comers arrayed against him.
It is past time for all of us to fight back.
We need to destroy the Dems in 2018, as they are Godless, pro-abortion and anti-American, and they can no longer be allowed a seat at the political table.
We, the People, own this government, not them or the K-Street lobbyists, or the Establishment in DC.
President Trump remains our best and ONLY vehicle for taking our country back.
2016 was a miracle from God in that President Trump overcame the GOP, the MSM, the Dems and the demon known as Hillary Clinton.
We cannot waste this opportunity.
In the past, Free Republic has helped to shape American political history.
I pray God uses us once again to do so, to make America great again.

The election process was weird precisely because DJT was appointed to take down the Establishment. What’s in a name? Divine Rectification, reduced down to one word: Trump.

Thank you for writing this. I have been getting so tired of seeing the usual posters writing nonsense about DJT or his family. They want to tell themselves it is constructive criticism, but we know better, it is doing nothing but giving ammunition to the media.

I am hopeful but that is a huge lot of evil to undo and even if he succeeds we will only be back to where we were before January of 2008 and that leaves a lot more that needs to be undone. Only in comparison to the situation we had with Obama in office could anyone say that we were doing well then, at least that is my opinion. My idea of freedom is that government does absolutely nothing that is not in accordance with natural rights and truly necessary. There should never have been an income tax, a department of education, social security or medicare and that is just a start. The idea that the federal government should pay for birth control, abortion or many other things that liberals believe it should pay for is as foreign to my thinking as the idea that we should walk on our heads and eat dirt. I think that the vast majority of federal spending goes for things that never should have existed and we would be better off had they not existed.
Trump has taken stances that no president has taken in four decades.
He’s fighting the globalists when most politicians have surrendered to them.
Trump is actually making progress to save Americans’ freedoms.
He’s done a hell of a job considering he has no help from the rest of the GOP congress.
