Pretty funny. He’s undoing the entire Obama admin like it never existed.

Good. It was a slap in the face of the Cuban American community.

In 2012, Cuba started to allow some private property.

There appear to be some very small businesses, but 20% of property in private hands seems extremely high as an estimate.

One article suggested about 424,000 Cubans employed in private enterprise or self employed.

There are about 11.4 million Cubans.

Say 6 million are of working age.

About 7% employed privately.

I stand corrected, based on what I just read elsewhere. At least during his Presidential campaign, Rubio was talking about stopping SS abuse. You may have heard more since. When is that policy likely to change?

It’s a start, even it is just 10%.

Communism in Cuba was probably to some degree an overreaction to foreign meddling and mafia control. Now they have a different kind of mafia. I think the people there would do just fine with free enterprise. Let’s not try to force them to import our social liberal corporatist model. It doesn’t work here, either!

Yes it is.

The Communist mafia in charge is very, very evil.

This is spitting in the face of Pope Bergoglio, the pro-abortion, pro-Castro fan of Obama.

Good.

It is becoming very obvious the disdain President Trump has for his predecessor.

Ovomit was stupid. He started screwing with Trump when Trump was acting classy. Now, the POTUS will squash him like the bug and thug that he is.

Heh heh heh.......

In a balanced market, the cruise lines should have told Cuba, you want tourist dollars, no visa ... be like every other port, extortion is not going to be paid by our passengers.

See post # 12, re: sex tourism. Seems likely that there's a connection.

At least with one named source, this report has a better than usual chance of being true. If so, good.

This information coming from an anti-embargo group, which spoke on the condition of anonymity, was confirmed Sunday by John Kavulich of the nonpartisan U.S. – Cuba Trade and Economic Council

Let’s first permit importation of Cuban cigars for 10 years. And if they prove to surpass Nicaraguan/Connecticut blends, then...

It isn’t as though people have been falling all over themselves to go to Cuba, from what I hear.

People who have gone have been disappointed, it's a wreck thanks to socialism. We shouldn't be providing any tourist dollars until we get something in exchange, other than cigars for Obama and Bill.

“People who have gone have been disappointed, it’s a wreck thanks to socialism.”

I’ve been reading cruise critic for years now. They seem to be censoring any and all truth about Cuba. 50% of the reviews are bad for the ships and ports, but ports other than Havana !!! Nothing negative can be found bout Cuba.

Nothing more than an extension of the MSM and fake news.

“Privately owned” property is a deceptive term if there is no open market where you can sell it to anyone you please.
