Daring Dog urinates on Fearless Girl

In pop culture, somehow women can only be praised by painting them as superior to men. The latest example of this can be seen in the "Fearless Girl" statue. On Wall Street, back in 1989, an artist made a statue of a raging bull. The statue, "Charging Bull," was meant to symbolize the power of the stock market when it is on an upswing.

But then a second artist, Kristen Visbal, commissioned in 2017 by investment management firm State Street Global Advisors to promote its 'SHE' gender diversity index, decided to put a statue of a girl, her arms akimbo, in front of the bull. Immediately the meaning of the first statue changed. Instead of being a statue about raging markets, the pair of statues became a play on how women (the girl) are stronger than men (the bull). The artist who made the "Fearless Girl" statue was no doubt intending to be provocative; she could have put her statue anywhere. She purposefully put it in front of an animal which happened to be male.

Suddenly art that was not intentionally about masculinity became an art work that denigrated men as weaker than not merely women but little girls.

If that “girl” isn’t modeled on Barack Obama I’ll eat my shorts. Got the same breathtakingly arrogant “have you seen the insides of my nostrils? They’re the most interesting thing in the world, let me show you!” nose-in-the-air posture that Obama made so infamous over so many years.

OMG! It does look like Obama’s head stuck on a little girl’s body. How fitting!

Gee, I thought the girl statue was a statement of foolhardiness and stupidity. A little girl standing defiantly in front of an angry bull is but moments away from being gored or trampled. No matter the level of defiance, no one can stand up to forces many times stronger than themselves and hope to prevail.

For example, the statue symbolizes the left’s idiocy when it comes to terrorism. They don’t want to do anything about the terrorists. They just want to continue to welcome them with open arms while proclaiming that they will not give in to fear, even as the terrorists commit one heinous act after another. Fear is a biological signal that something threatens your very existence and that yes, it is appropriate to take measures to stop the threat. Although the left seems dead-set on denying the biological nature of our existence, in so many ways...

Those pushing the “she-man” concept must be heartbroken when they realize few women want the lives men have had for centuries. They can offer free degrees to every woman in the world in STEM fields, and I suspect less than 5% would want to pursue it.

Hope to see more insightful posts like this on FR. The girl perfectly portrays the defiant young know-it-alls that that are coddled by our society. Contrast them with boys in the 1800’s who went to sea at age 8, sometimes rising high up into the ranks.

Arnold Schwarzenegger had Obama figured several years ago when he referred to “girly men”.
