During Politico’s “Off Message” podcast discussing his book “The Vanishing American Adult,” never-Trumper Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE) said President Donald Trump “comes out of a reality TV world,” which gives him “lots of anxiety about whether or not that kind of world is really what we want for our kids.”

It’s hard to argue with the guy’s basic premise that this country is seeing a lot of problems due to stunted adults who apparently never grew up. The point about Trump is strange because Trump did much better among older voters than younger ones.
Someone needs to ask this so-called Republican if a Hildabeast presidency would be preferable.

Ben Sasse has opposed Trump on limiting so-called refugees. He’s opposed Trump on immigration. He’s opposed Trump on trade. He’s opposed Trump on firing Comey. He’s opposed conservative positions more than he does democrats. He may as well join the democrats.
