Camille Paglia: Hillary Clinton 'is a completely hollow woman'
Washington Examiner ^ | 5/19/2017 | Emily Jashinsky

"She is a completely hollow woman," Camille Paglia said, reflecting on Hillary Clinton's disastrous bid for the presidency six months after the former secretary of state fell to Donald Trump.

In an interview with the Washington Examiner on Tuesday, Paglia, who voted for Jill Stein in November, recalled red flags from the earliest days of Clinton's candidacy, pointing to her dependence upon artificial policy positions carefully manufactured in Brooklyn with the help of polls and focus groups.

"Hillary, when she first declared that she was a candidate," the bestselling author explained, "they asked her about her policies... and she refused to answer."

"They had to poll for her to find out what her policies were," said Paglia, delineating Clinton's failures with a detectable air of exasperation. "She was waiting for all her people to sift through polling data. They had to poll for her to find out what her policies were."

"That, for me, confirmed my complete lack of respect for her," Paglia revealed. "That there was such a gap in time between when she declared her candidacy and when she would answer one single policy question."(snip)

To Paglia, if a Republican had conducted themselves that way, the media would have eagerly highlighted "how crazy" it was. Instead, as she sees it, the press is "complicit."

Trump, on the other hand, according to the professor, who teaches media studies at the University of the Arts, is "a master of media."

"His mastery of media, his sense of media," Paglia contended, gave him an advantage over Clinton "and all those snobbish people…allowing him to communicate with people in a way" that the Democrats simply could not.

Trump speaks right past "the layers of insulation" that keep other politicians looking withdrawn, Paglia contended, attributing the president's popularity with

About 1 in 25 humans is a sociopath. It’s not really all that unusual.

She was never anything on her own, she rode Bill’s coattails to the top. If not for Bill she never would have been more than middle management in some government office like the DMV.

She may have even pushed him further than he would have gone on his own, but on her own she is unlikable, shrill, and stupid.

The ONLY thing she learned in law school was have to avoid implicating yourself.

A Democrat can do himself a favor....ask himself what Hillary did as Senator and Secretary of State...other than making speeches. It’s a five-line resume...with the last line....wife of Bill.

At least this leftist feminist is capable of honesty at some level. I remember when the story first came out that Kankles paid for two years’ worth of focus groups to come up with the “message” why she was running for POTUS in 2016. Fake News Media completely ignored the story.

..........and the REAL reason Kankles ran for POTUS: because she was ENTITLED to be the first woman POTUS, it was OWED to her, everybody in the Rat party OWED her. LMAO. She put up with a lifetime of Bill’s sicko-perv cheating, and Bill hogging the spotlight at her expense—he owed her, too. She hated being a First Lady, it was a job she thought beneath her, the Great Hillary, “the smartest woman in the world.” LMAO again.

"...middle management in some government office like the DMV..."

Exactly. I love asking Hillary voters "what is the most endearing and charming" thing about her? Crickets.

This article sounds pretty accurate to me.

A soulless shell of a person who must be spoon fed all policy positions.

Well, anyone voting for Jill Stein does not have my ear. I don’t think Hitlery is empty - she’s full of pure evil.

I don’t think Hillary is hollow. The problem is that what’s inside is such an unappealing mass of hunger for power and contempt that the Democrats have to conceal it. Occasionally does it peek through, like her “basket of contemptible” moment and right now that her handlers are gone.

I’m not sure why every Paglia interview includes a mention of whom she voted for (Sanders, Stein). Paglia talks tough but in the end she’s another ivory tower academic lefty.

But credit to Paglia who has abhorred Hillary since the Bill Clinton administration days and often devastatingly referred to her as ‘hopelessly butch.’

Hillary felt she was entitled to be president. Alas, the only thing your are entitled to after birth is, you guessed it, death. Anything else you have to earn and she got what she earned, rejection.
