The Score ^ | June 2, 2017 | Dan Wilkins

Colin Kaepernick won't be catching on with the Seattle Seahawks following a recent free-agent visit, but Pete Carroll believes it's only a matter of time before the quarterback finds a new home.

The veteran head coach told reporters Friday that, although Seattle won't be signing Kaepernick right now, the team is well aware of what he's capable of doing on the field.

>>He’s capable of 2-14 2016 season!!!<<

Optimist.

The problem IMHO is K’s own supporters. K is inconsistent. A team might take a flyer on him but they would want to cut him if it doesn’t work out. Cut this guy and you get Black Lives Matter and every race hustler in the country on your doorstep.

Smart move at this time. Kaep is nothing but trouble wherever he is...and he is not that good a player, either.

What team would want the negative attention the Kap would bring?

Bad karma. Or he is a terrible QB. Maybe a little of both.

“but Pete Carroll believes it’s only a matter of time before the quarterback finds a new home”

yeah, pete, i think every coach that has looked at this loser and rejected him has said the exact same thing.

“He’s capable of 2-14 2016 season!!!”

With a record like that, he might be able to help out the Browns ...

He’s a read/option quarterback in a league that’s caught on to this gimmick offense and never learned to be a pocket passer nor has the skill to do so. The league has moved on and he doesn’t fit anywhere anymore. The rest is hype/hysteria.

More like Jose Canseco. Carroll is waiting for Russell Wilson to go down.

In his interview Carroll used an interesting phrase that “K is a starting quarterback in this league.” If K wants starting money even from clubs that might look at him as a backup, he may want to think about early retirement.

A very good idea. Wonder what he will be doing?

There are better ways to handle a situation than to provoke and anger people and that is exactly what he tried to do. I have a great deal of respect for MLK for his attempt to bring people together instead of blame and provoke.

All K does is to anger people and when people are angry they will not listen to your message.

Who would be more disruptive in an NFL locker room; Kaepernick or Michael Sam?
