In the late 90s she got lucky and landed a bit part on the old Seinfeld sitcom. The character she played was a no personality venal person trying to do stand up in back alley taverns.
In the show she invented a schtick of just making fun off Jerry Seinfeld. It really didn't make sense and she only appeared two or three times.
Following that brief flirtation with notoriety she went absolutely no where trying to become a female Don Rickles, an act that didn't sell, probably because of her nasty personality.
After the election of George Bush, she tried to switch her schtick to just making fun of him like she had done on the Seinfeld show, a style that morphed into slandering any and all conservatives and American values.
Liberals liked the stuff enough for her to make a living and somehow she got hired by CNN to do the New Year's Ball Drop gig with Cooper Anderson.
She will probably make more money milking this beheading gig than anything she has done so far.
