I’m starting to think she’s gone bat sh*t crazy to the point she has convinced herself she didn’t do anything illegal.

Actually she knows it was illegal. However in the Marxist philosophy of the greater good this is not only okay but admirable.
To those of the ilk of Alinsky of which Hillary is a follower all actions in support of Marxism are not only good, they are demanded. To them Constitutional Law is but an old document of no importance. All they do is for the "Greater Good." Stalin did that also.
She is evil just as Marx, Engels, Lennin, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot etc. were evil.
They do not even know they are evil. As you said Bat Sh-t Crazy driven by the desire for power and they justify it for the greater good.
Since Marx and Engels published their evil philosophy about 200 million people have died for their perverted idea of the greater good.
