Are Brown and his comrades part of a Fifth Column within the United States?

Of course. And they have been since the Great Liberal Fascist Uprising of the 1960s. There's been a long and determined effort to turn CA into the first Communist American state. Looks like it's happening right out in the open now, though it's a race to see if CA can beat NY and MA. Business as usual continues.

States may not make treaties with foreign countries. Under Article II, Section 2 the president is given the power to make treaties with the advice and consent of the Senate.

:No State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation...

I was wondering if this broke any federal laws. Apparently, yes.

[[just more posturing.]]

It’s not just more posturing because california will begin implementing draconian ‘climate regulations’ on businesses and it’s citizens will pay higher prices for everything- with the money going overseas and into cali government pockets- it’s straight out government sanctioned theft

basically it’s just symbolic- they aren’t going to sign any agreement or pact- but they WILL force their state to ‘observe the draconian rules and regulations’ of the original paris climate treaty- technically they can say they aren’t in the agreement when in actuality and for all intents and purposes, they are- NY Washington i believe, and a few other states are going to do the same damn thing- they and their lawyers WILL find a way to enforce the regulations without actually being in the agreement

Set up shop? It’s going to take California trillions of dollars to complete what moonbeam signed. And they don’t have anything near that. This intention is dead in the water if they try to uphold it.

This so called agreement has NO validity since it is totally overshadowed by our Federal Government and what it "does" and "does NOT" do.

Gov Moonbeam in essence ran out onto the stage momentarily and acted as if he were a major performer in the show... he is NOT!

They can lawyerly browbeat most in the state into following the bogus rules as the cost of fighting the state will exceed the compliance cost. But if Google, Apple, etc. are getting dinged big time for all the energy used in their massive server farms they CAN afford to fight Sacramento. They’ve got more ready cash than Moonbeam’s team. And better lawyers.

So, Moonbeam’s ‘deal’ is as worthless as the paper it’s printed on?

Who does Moonbeam think is going to pay for his wonderful plan, anyhow? The CA taxpayers are about out of $$$.
