Release Pastor Brunson Erdogan! Or else!
My sentiments exactly.
Maybe Trump found out that the SEALs of Extortion 17 were set up through Qatar. “Stop Qatar Now” is a group who has been keeping up with any public info on that nation.
I think that for better or worse President Trump has made his moves in the Middle East deciding to be in with Israel, the Saudis, the Egyptians and the United Arab Emirates and out with Iran, Qatar and Turkey.
Buffoon.
I would be happy if Erdogan gets kicked to the curb, happier if the Turkiye of Mustafa Kemal is resurrected.
Yes. Now that we have an American President that know all the Middle East actors need us more than we need them, good things for the world can happen. Time will tell.
Erdogan is a snake. After the Ottoman subjugated arabs, they now try to act like they should be friends. Funny how that works, only when the Ottoman got kicked out of Suez did all of a sudden the Muslim Brotherhood pop out in Egypt with the Ottoman supporting them against Western oppressors.
Qatar is the world’s richest nation though smaller than Connecticut, with 300,000 Qatari citizens, 2,300,000 foreign workers and 30% of the world’s natural gas. Saudi Arabia has 31,000,000 people, looming financial problems and a large military, and is eager to teach the newly independent minded Qataris that the Saudis still rule the Arabian peninsula. Perhaps the Saudis even want Qatar’s gas fields. As war with Iran looms over Arabia, America has a fractured alliance on its hands. And of all places, United States Central Command sits at Al Udeid Air Base - in Qatar. This is a mess.
Yes, it is a mess.
As long as Sisi is in power, MB will never be back in Egypt.
Too much treachery. Will never be forgotten.
Or else, indeed.
Have read about Extortion 17, but not spent time to really grasp the details.
Qatar has suddenly become an outcast over the issue. Erdogan in Turkey is very close to Qatar's leader. Erdogan has significant financial ties to Qatar.
And it comes on the heels of a Trump visit to Saudi Arabia. Coincidence?
Absolutely not a coincidence.
