My point is like Clinton's "depends on what the meaning of is is." If Comey thinks "leak" is only "leak" if it is an "illegal leak," then he didn't leak, he "shared."

Proving it depends on one's interpretation of the word in context, kinda like what pledging "loyalty" means or "seeing your way through" means.

Exactly. None of that is a case a prosecutor would bring, not just because the facts are vague (so no way to get "beyond a reasonable doubt"), but the offenders generally get a pass because of their political stature.

OTOH, Comey's excuses for giving Hillary a pass don't hold water, period. He got fired for usurping DoJ role, and Hillary is still in jeopardy for the private server, no matter what Comey says about closed investigation and no reasonable prosecutor. The statute of limitations hasn't run.
