Sen. Risch has managed to ask a question of former FBI Director Comey that summarizes much of Comey’s testimony. Continuously, Comey has tried to propel the narrative that Trump demanded him to interfere in the Russia investigations. When it was finally Sen. James E. Risch of Idaho’s turn to question Comey, he managed to expose much of what Comey was attempting to do with his testimony.
According to Comey’s notes, Trump told him, “I hope you can see your way clear to letting this go, to letting Flynn go. He is a good guy. I hope you can let this go.” Comey attempted to push this prompt as an “order” or “command” from POTUS; although he goes on to say he did not follow it.
Sen. Risch immediately saw this display on Comey’s part for what it was, and proceeded to grill Comey on the matter: “Do you know of any case where a person has been charged for obstruction of justice, or for that matter any other criminal offense where they said or thought they hoped for an outcome?” Risch asked.

Unfortunately it is happening. The allegations, innuendo and outright sabotage of a duly elected president’s reputation is happening in a trial not by fact, but by media.
After listening to this whiny little b***h I could only presume he was afraid to be alone with Trump because he was afraid he would grab him by the p***y.
Soon Rush or someone else on our side will come up with audio clips of democrats “hoping” for certain things and expose the left as being a cabal of partisan witch-hunters with complete disregard for the laws as written.
Remember, as far as Comey is concerned, “intent” is everything, far more important than the letter of any law.
Risch: “He did not direct you to let it go.”
Comey: “Not in his words, no.”
Risch: “He said, ‘I hope.’ You don’t know of anyone who has ever been charged for hoping something, is that a fair statement?”
Comey: “I don’t as I sit here.”
I find it amazing that Comey was professionally offended that Trump would ask him to let the Flynn (who really is a good guy whom I have known for a long time) thing go, but he had no problem delivering a bill of particulars on several felonies that Clinton has obviously committed, but let her go nonetheless. Selective standards of propriety and integrity, just like almost everyone else in DC...
Has there been evidence like a recording, video for the President saying all of this, or have we even seen these so called notes? All we have right now as far as I know is Comey saying this happened.
Comey: produce the memos you wrote for your entire tenure as head of FBI. Until then STFU.
Following Comey’s logic of ‘no intent’, he probably does think Trump should be prosecuted for ‘intent’.
So when the President of the United States told a lowly 22 year old intern "I hope you will give me a blow job" it was rape?
Any half way decent trial lawyer would destroy Comey on the witness stand, if he tried to make the same point in a Court case.
The Democraps had their Lyndon Baines Johnson, of Texas, JFK’s VP and successor. LBJ reportedly was an alpha male who could be physically intimidating in personal settings and behind closed doors. However LBJ was never the subject or target of witch hunts and deliberate sabotage like DJT is.

Has any evidence been produced with the President saying this, or even has Comey showed any notes, and from the conversations during the Clinton crime family on going investigations.?
We are witnessing the only thing the bankrupt left has in their arsenal, the criminalization of political opposition.
It’s not only the “I hope” - but also the “YOU can see YOUR WAY clear” that needs to be mentioned here.
Note that by using this phrase, Trump is clearly NOT telling or even asking Comey to STOP the investigation, but merely HOPING that after Comey gathers up all the relevant facts that based on either a lack of evidence or on reasonable prosecutorial discretion that Comey can see HIS WAY clear to letting it go ... not Trump’s way - HIS WAY! This is the OPPOSITE of pressuring Comey - it’s being deferential!
In other words, what Trump said is really no different than saying - I hope that after you conclude YOUR investigation YOUR WAY that based on the evidence you have ... “you can see your way clear to letting Flynn go”.
THAT is not a demand
THAT is not even a request.
THAT is simply Trump being a decent human being and expressing his hopes that things turn out OK for his friend, Flynn.
But I guess these days it’s a crime for a president to act like a decent human being.

The scariest part of it is how much traction this play is getting in the press and the LIV public.
This is only the beginning of the left using this tactic. Be prepared to see this same attack numerous times and with 10x the ferocity in 2018 and 2020.
I think it's interesting to follow his voice inflections when he's testifying. At certain moments, his voice takes on a flattened quality. The last time he testified, I saw it when he answered that interfering with an investigation would be a “big deal.” Today, it appeared when he alleged that he was an honest man because “his parents beat it into him.” The man has some serious issues, and his “aw shucks, Lordy, Lordy” routine belies the fact that he is glaringly inconsistent in his testimony.
