TRUMP'S PICK FOR FBI DIRECTOR TIED TO SHARIAH-COMPLIANT DEALS
wnd.com ^ | 6/8/2017 | LEO HOHMANN

Shariah law is like a mysterious “other” for most Westerners, who may know of its intolerance of other religions and its criminal codes that call for stoning adulterers and the cutting off of limbs for petty thieves. But few know there is a portion of Shariah that includes a thriving area of finance — deals for real estate and business transactions taking place all over the world with Arab money.

President Donald Trump’s pick to head the FBI, Christopher Wray, surely knows something about this segment of Shariah. Wray is a litigation partner at King & Spalding, which is one of the leading conduits for Shariah-compliant Islamic deal-making around the world. The firm prides itself in its connections to wealthy Middle Eastern investment groups.

According to its website, King & Spalding is a global leader in Islamic finance and investment. It was one of the first American law firms to aid Islamic investors in accumulating assets in the West. The King & Spalding website states:

“Our work in the Middle East and our experience with Islamic finance date back to the early 1980s. In 1995, we were the first law firm to establish a dedicated Islamic finance and investment practice group. Our award-winning group has been successful in developing the legal architecture needed by our clients to break new ground in this specialized field. We are the only law firm with recognized experience and the depth to structure and implement sophisticated Shari’ah-compliant investment and financing transactions in the Middle East, Europe and the United States.”

Is this where someone points out that not every adherent to Islam is a terrorist?

I am assuming he understands it, but is not suggesting it is superior to out system.

This does not mean that Wray is pro-islam terrorism.

No interest allowed under Sharia Law.

So to make a loan Sharia compliant, they lie.

The document says the amount borrowed is the principal plus interest due on the loan. Its magic. See no interest.

Not seeing an issue here. It’s just structuring of financial transactions to be compliant for the Muslim community. It’s not like he’s going to insist that everybody at the FBI start wearing burkas.

Reads to me like the firm he was at did transactional law, and some of the transactions required "sharia compliant" clauses or structure.

I don't see any connection between that and FBI activities.

connections to wealthy Middle Eastern investment groups.

Gee. Why is that not surprising.

"Wray was nominated by President George W. Bush as assistant attorney general in charge of the Criminal Division, according to the Justice Department. He held that job from 2003 to 2005.

Wray, a Yale Law School graduate, served on the President's Corporate Fraud Task Force and oversaw the Enron Task Force"

This one reason why many here have always called WND WORLD NUT DAILY.

I know about the Islamic finance "codes", which whoever wrote this may or may not, but is using Sharia Laws to impugn/smear Trump's pick with.

Muslims have their own "usury" laws. And FYI...so did Christians, which is WHY only Jews were allowed to be bankers/lenders, for many 100s of years, in Europe.

It is even alluded to in Shakespeare's THE MERCHANT OF VENICE !

Christopher Wray, surely knows something about this segment of Shariah. Wray is a litigation partner at King & Spalding, which is one of the leading conduits for Shariah-compliant Islamic deal-making around the world.

King & Spalding, according to its website, has more than 900 lawyers. I doubt that Wray, who's in their litigation department, has anything to do with Shariah-compliant financing, which would be handled by a different department.

What other partners do at a law firm indicates absolutely ZERO about someone, unless those partners are doing something illegal.

I have a problem with Wray and his law firm having ties to Islamic investors.

Show me where wealthy muslim individuals and companies aren't funding CAIR type organizations or are not fronts for islamic terrorist groups, then I'll change my mind.

But Wray having a profitable business relations with Sharia friendly investors is a deal breaker.

As FBI director, will he give a wink and a nod to these "business associates"?

= = =

I will bet, ONE Bitcoin, that somewhere there is a non-terrorist adherent to Islam.

This may be a millennial, a US pop-star, a US congressperson(not mutilated, yet), or a day-old (but not older) new-born ‘Asian’.

So, let me get this straight. The new FBI Director will understand the Shariah-based financing networks that fund Terrorism and this, some how, is a bad thing?

I was wondering how they do it. I was certain that muzzie banks and investors do not just loan money to be good people.

Article says he’s a litigation partner, not a muzzie deal maker.
Need more info!
