Not only do we know President Donald Trump reads GotNewswe now know his wife, First Lady Melania Trump, may have first put the award-winning news site on his radar.
In May, the blog Politico editorialized that someone mischievously gave President Trump a copy of a GotNews article correctly identifying Katie Walsh as a White House leaker:
That is what happened in late February when someone mischievously gave the president a printed copy of an article from GotNews.com, the website of internet provocateur Charles C. Johnson, which accused deputy chief of staff Katie Walsh of being the source behind a bunch of leaks in the White House.
No matter that Johnson had been permanently banned from Twitter for harassment or that he offered no concrete evidence or that he had lobbed false accusations in the past and recanted them. Trump read the article and began asking staff about Walsh. Johnson told POLITICO that he tracks the IP addresses of visitors to his website and added: I can tell you unequivocally that the story was shared all around the White House.
Trump quickly acted on the news and fired Walsh. Who handed President Trump a copy of the GotNews article about Katie Walsh? None other than Melania, according to the Grey Lady.
In February, the president was spotted with a printed copy of a GotNews article in the Oval Office. The article, which claimed to pinpoint a source of leaks from within the West Wing, was shown to him by his wife, according to one person with knowledge of the encounterfirst reported by Politicowho did not know how the first lady had come across it, the New York Times reports in an article libeling GotNews.
Mrs. Trump frequently offers her advice to her husband, which he takes into account. She reportedly scours the media, according to another Politico report, working hard to protect her husband from treacherous White House staff members in the Washington, D.C. swamp.
The leaks bother her. She believes a lot of people are more interested in serving themselves than him, a source in touch with the president explained to Politico.
Weve been told that Reince Priebus is the one who alerted the New York Times to the First Familys trust in GotNews.
Stay tuned for more.
I was with him on the Tea Party Circuit and observed him digging into the Deep State Shadow Government shenanigans

Let’s take a Look!
To First Lady Melania's List.
"Trump quickly acted on the news and fired Walsh. Who handed President Trump a copy of the GotNews article about Katie Walsh? None other than Melania, according to the Grey Lady."
You might be surprised how many Conservative Media figures also use Free Republic as a Terminus for sources and opinions.
Good for Melania. He is surrounded by plenty of people who don’t have his or the country’s best interests in mind.
Thanks for posting to the Melania ping list.
I love our FLOTUS!!
I saw Walsh on TV last nite, she was captioned as RNC Chairwoman.
Who’d she replace?
Interesting the eGOP promoted her for being a traitorous spy.
The GOP website lists Ronna McDaniel as chairwoman

Me too and you know the left are seething because she has real style and class. They can’t STAND it, and they have to attack her relationship with her husband.
Women!
I’m glad the list holder saw the thread and pinged the list, I didn’t know there was one.
But then I always decline being on lists.
