I was watching a Kennedy-assassination video this weekend that contained a piece of information I didn't know.

Apparently, Deadeye Dan was the first person to view the Zapruder film on November 23rd, the day after the assassination.

The film was not released to the public until the mid-70s, so Dan's report was the only thing ordinary Americans got from the single best piece of evidence of what actually happened that day, at least for many years.

And guess what? Dan the News Man reported that Kennedy's head was thrown forward by the impact of the shot that killed him. Anyone who looks at the actual film can see that the exact opposite is the case.

Some believe that Dapper Dan's rapid subsequent rise in the news biz was helped along by outside forces who decreed that he must be rewarded for toeing the party line and backing up the conclusions of the Warren Report before it was issued.
