I was commenting that it would look terrible if Trump fired Mueller with all the Watergate claims floating out there. Instead, I said that it would be better if elected Republicans in the Congress and Senate as well as Trump surrogates loudly decried the conflicts of interest that Mueller has. Of course, this is the feckless GOP leadership, so we can't count on that. Could you imagine the Democrats? They would never let Mueller stand there being friends with Comey and accumulating a bunch of Republican donors. Terrible. Lou Dobbs had a Congressman(?) on last night who was concerned, but it will have to be Congressmen and Senators who are not in leadership because I don't see McConnell or Ryan doing anything.

And if he did hire another Mueller to get Trump, his congressional career would be in big jeopardy along with any other Repub that would go along with it.
