A California Air Force base is on lockdown after reports of an active shooter.
Travis Air Force Base, between the Bay Area and Sacramento, posted on Facebook Wednesday that it was “responding to a real world security incident.”
The base was but on lockdown, with the base telling service members stationed there to shelter and place and lock their doors and windows.
A base spokesman told CBS Sacramento that the active shooter situation started at the base’s exchange store.
