For those who don’t know, it is special interest groups, lawyers as lobbyists like the U.S. CoC, who actually write the legislation. Politicians vote on legislation, they don’t actually put pen to paper and write it – that’s what the congressional lobbyists do.

Sundance has it nailed. Lobbyists have way too much input into bills. And we suffer for it.
At last, the media takes note that we deplorables are long “on” to the R’s, in the House and the Senate.
There silence to defend the president betrays their intentions to let Trump fend for himself off the Hill, while they slow walk his agenda on the Hill, inevitably leaving him twisting in the wind, isolating him and freezing his presidency.
The people are his support and we have together have been at their mercy. Now, I pray, these R’s are soon at our mercy.
