I have read that Crowdstrike investigation was led by a former FBI head of cybersecurity. Thoughts:
1) Ex-FBI guy was a partisan Democrat or Crowdstrike would not have hired him, or the DNC trusted him.
2) Ex-FBI guy backchanneled info to Comey.
3) Ex-FBI guy is the key to unravelling this.

So why doesn’t Mr. Gowdy have the Crowdstrike lead investigator deposed under oath in private then brought in to testify on his actions and findings? Questions like: Did you investigate and eliminate the possibility that an insider took the data rather than an outside hacker? How? Any particular suspects? Any data or discussion about Seth Rich? Have you ever communicated on this matter with former Director Comey? When and what exactly? Did anyone suggest that your report find that “the Russians did it”? Who?

After writing this, I realized that the situation was a set up. Active FBI tech experts would be constrained to report on crimes found during their investigations, testify about them, etc. Ex-FBI would not. Thus FBI experts are outplaced. They can inform Dem-friendly FBI insiders to the extent desired, and follow unofficial direction on what to keep secret.
