"As long as healthcare costs are high, health insurance premiums will be high."

Yep, no legislation in the last eight years has addressed the cost of the actual delivery of healthcare, or what doctors and hospital charge. The only way to bring that spiral down is to go to a cash only basis of payment.

“As long as healthcare costs are high, health insurance premiums will be high.”

An important truth. The battle that needs to be fought is against the high cost of healthcare. Our politicians argue about who will pay the exorbitant costs.

The argument holds our attention because, like the lottery, we think we may hit the jackpot: healthcare paid by someone else.

Reducing the flow of money into the healthcare industry is about as near as you can get to impossible.
