I worked for the UN for a while. 90% of the staff are third world turds who worked themselves up from low paid national staff, and then realized they could earn 10x by leaving their own needy nation and working as an international staff in another country.

Yes, if they really cared they could move to some poverty-stricken, war-torn place where their great empathy is needed.
Replaced by whom? The US foots the bill pretty much for defense of the entire modern world. This is one of the unspoken reasons other countries, can, barely afford their social safety nets. They contribute next to nothing for their own defense.
