This seems to be a common (if dumb) policy among some conservative sites. They ban any content, even good, well-sourced original material, from a subjective list of taboo “racist” sites. It’s ultimately a self-defeating policy, as this article shows (the SPLC doubtless considers Stormfront and FR as two peas in a pod anyway).

Given the frequent uncomplimentary references to "Amish", you are correct.

Freerepublic.com is on SPLC's list of "active antigovernment groups(as "Free Republic")
